Our story
Home Finders was founded in 2021, but our story began much earlier.
After leaving the Royal Air Force in 1991, our founder, Sue Gidney, began her career in the property industry with a simple belief: moving home should be a better experience for everyone involved. Buyers, sellers, landlords and tenants all deserve an estate agent who communicates, cares and genuinely delivers on their promises.More than 30 years later, that belief still shapes everything we do.
Today, Home Finders combines decades of industry experience with a fresh, modern approach. Our experienced team includes qualified property professionals, ARLA Propertymark Fellows and some of the most respected names in the local industry, all committed to helping people move with confidence.

We're proud to support Best Mates, raising awareness and funds for this fantastic peer support charity that connects people facing life's challenges with volunteers who have experienced similar journeys.
Supporting local schools
We donate £50 from every property sale in selected areas to support Abbey Meads Community Primary School and Lethbridge Primary School, helping fund libraries, school projects and fundraising initiatives that benefit local children.
Friends of Old Town
We're proud supporters of Friends of Old Town, sponsoring their community discount card, volunteering at local events and using our Old Town Life magazine to celebrate community projects and showcase independent local businesses.
Community Christmas dinner initiative
We supported a local community group by donating meat and other essential supplies for their Christmas dinner, helping bring people together and combat loneliness during the festive season.
